Adventures in Dining - Co-chairs:

This
group usually meets the 3rd Saturday of each month in the evening for dinner
at a member's home, a clubhouse or a restaurant. Each member of the group
co-hosts a dinner during the year. The hostesses decide on the location
and menu (if not a restaurant), contact members and send recipes as needed
to those who commit to attending. Spouses and singles are welcome. Neither
regular attendance nor gourmet cooking skills are required. Call Samia or
Nancy for additional information or to join group. |

Book Group - Chair: Delores Browning |

This
group meets the 4th Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m., at a member's home,
to discuss a selected book. All books are selected by the group at a planning
meeting. This very popular group is open only to members, but
regular attendance is not required.

The
COUPLES GROUP meets the 2nd Saturday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at a member's
home on a rotating basis. A new group can be formed when sufficient members
(enough for 2 or 3 tables) are found. Another couple is needed. Call Jean
if you are interested in being an alternate or forming a new group..
A SINGLES GROUP meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 10:15 a.m. to 3:00
p.m. A substitute list is maintained. A new group can be formed when sufficient
members (enough for 2 or 3 tables) are found. |

This group meets the 2nd Saturday of each month at 1:00 p.m. in a member's
home, on a rotating basis, to discuss various topics in French. A speaking
knowledge of French (but at varying levels of expertise) is necessary. Contact

Meets
the third Sunday of the month for a 1-2 hour hike, with lunch as a reward.
Orange County offers excellent hiking trails, and each hike is hosted and
selected by one of the members of the group. Contact Gayle Perry for more

Mah Jongg: Tina Byrne |

An American Style Mah Jongg group is forming. If you are
interested, please contact Asha Satiani. The first meeting will be for
planning when and where they will play, so be sure to get in on the fun! |

Movie and Lunch Bunch: Kay Sandell |

This
group meets the 1st Saturday of each month. The time changes depending
upon the venue. The movie and location of the lunch are selected by the
hostess the week before the movie. Members meet for either the lunch or
the movie or both. Members must be on the group's email or phone list
for notifications. |

informal group usually meets on the second Saturday of the month to explore
museums, historical sites, and a variety of interesting events.The dates
and times of the excursions vary, depending upon the venue. |

Theatre Group - Carolyn Cooper |

This
group meets monthly, usually on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon at the Newport
Theatre Arts Center, to attend a local play. The dates and times vary, depending
upon the venue. Members buy season tickets for Sunday afternoons. Lunch
is prearranged. Others are welcome if there is an extra ticket due to conflicts.

group meets monthly for exhilarating, satisfying conversations. They get
the opportunity to continue a conversation to a satisfying conclusion. They
discuss issues, and learn a lot from each other. They meet on the second
Tuesday of each month at seven in the evening. |
